Description

JT Tutors has a 6 month fixed-contract vacancy for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for producing, managing and monitoring content on all of our company’s social channels. The selected individual will help shape the brand’s voice by creating social posts on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, where they also respond to comments and organize campaigns.

Requirements

  • Writing skills: Social media can be a writing-heavy job, with captions, posts, and sometimes even blogs to write. Must have the ability to communicate our business’s objectives effectively and in our brand’s voice to our target audience.
  • Social media experience: skills in digital marketing and have experience using all of the platforms our business utilizes. Have a knowledge that includes knowing how and what to post and familiarity with each platform’s analytics tools.
  • Customer service skills: ability to communicate with customers effectively and properly. Be able to handle both positive and negative interactions on each social channels and can do so while promoting JT Tutors brand name.
  • Design abilities: have an eye for what looks good and what doesn’t in an image, be able to take or make use of appealing photos and have some experience in creating simple graphics.
  • Organization skills: ability to balance all of the duties and stay on top of deadlines and schedules.
  • Paid traffic experience: have an understanding of how to run boosted posts and paid advertising campaigns. “Organic reach can be limited on social media platforms, so boosting posts, developing ad campaigns and tracking ROI is critical to success.”
